Larry Goedde My instruments have a contemporary look, and above all, a contemporary sound. Rich highs, lows, and mids are achieved through proper voicing of the top and back, as well as being braced in a manner that maximizes energy transfer. Hot Hide-glue is used to ensure joints that will last for centuries.

Larry Goedde All of the wood used is Master Grade, no compromises are made during material selection. Wood is first seasoned in stickers, and then slowly air dried. All of my wood is free of run-out and defects, so you can rest assured that your instrument is structurally sound. I also keep an eye out for interesting ornamental woods for inlay and decoration.

Larry Goedde All of my bindings and purflings are made in-house. This lets me ensure that all thicknesses are uniform for a precision look. This also allows me to make unique purflings, which not only includes custom patterns, but custom color combinations as well.

Larry Goedde Necks are attached with a true fit dovetail. However, instead of glue, the neck is then bolted on. This way, you get the best of both worlds; the tone and stability of a fit dovetail, with the ease of maintenance of a bolt on neck.

Larry Goedde The high-gloss Lacquer finish that is applied is kept ultra-thin. Using a digital finish thickness gauge, I am careful not to let finish thickness exceed .003" at the thickest point. This allows the plates to vibrate at maximum efficiency, while giving the guitar a great shiny look.

Larry Goedde I currently offer only one model, which is loosely based on an OM. The lower bout is slightly wider, and the waist has been moved higher on the body. This pulls the neck a little closer to the player when sitting with the guitar.
